The European Commission has helped launch a global campaign for Ukraine, raising awareness and support ahead of a global ‘pledging summit’ on 9 April 2022.
One call to action is that people leave little missives (selfie-video’s) for world leaders on Twitter and Instagram. I’m not sure whether this is a legitimate form of protest or just a spot of Gen Z virtue-signaling.
If Kiev wants selfie-video’s, Kiev shall have self-video’s!
On the other hand, Zelensky has specifically called for this action (see below), which suggests that it must, at some level, make sense. I’d be happier in a muddy field with a placard, but this isn’t about me.
